Italy's home in Rome
The Stadio Olimpico has hosted Italy's Six Nations home matches since 2012, when they moved from the smaller Stadio Flaminio. It is also the home of the football clubs AS Roma and Lazio, so check which event is on when you plan your trip.
How to get there
The metro does not reach the stadium, so plan the last stretch:
- Metro A and bus: from Termini, take Metro A towards Battistini to Ottaviano, then bus 32 to the Stadio Tennis stop.
- Metro A and tram: take Metro A to Flaminio, then tram 2 to Piazza Mancini, on the far bank of the Tiber, and walk across.
- Buses: routes including 280 also serve the area.
- Taxi: about 30 minutes from Termini, longer on a match day.
Rome's buses, trams and metro accept contactless payment when you board.
