Ireland visit Cardiff

Wales host Ireland at the Principality Stadium at 14:10 on the Saturday. Ireland have had the better of the recent games, winning 27-17 in Dublin in March 2026, 27-18 in Cardiff in 2025 and 31-7 in Dublin in 2024. Ireland and Wales are on the same clock, so visiting fans have no time difference to plan around.

Getting to the Principality Stadium

The stadium is in the middle of Cardiff, and large parts of the city centre close to traffic on match days, often from hours before kick-off until well after the final whistle. Rail is the simplest choice, with fans directed through Cardiff Central. If you drive, Sophia Gardens is about half a mile from the stadium, and recent match days have used a park and ride at Cardiff City Stadium in Leckwith. Large bags are not allowed in the ground.
