The Stormers host Racing 92 in Cape Town, a return fixture after Racing won 31-22 at home in January 2025. The Stormers were the first champions of the United Rugby Championship in 2022, while Racing have reached three European finals and won the French title in 2016.
Cape Town Stadium stands in Green Point, between the city centre and the Atlantic, a short walk from the V&A Waterfront. January is high summer in the Western Cape, so a Saturday afternoon match here can be combined with Table Mountain and the beaches.
