Lyon host Newcastle Red Bulls on a Sunday afternoon at the Matmut Stadium Gerland, looking for revenge after Newcastle won 23-14 in Lyon in December 2025. Lyon won this competition in 2022 and will want to make home advantage count this time.
The Matmut Stadium Gerland is the former home of Olympique Lyonnais football club, rebuilt for rugby, in the 7th arrondissement south of the city centre. Metro line B stops at Stade de Gerland, which makes the trip easy from the Part-Dieu railway station. Lyon's food and old town make the match an easy weekend away.
